Hans Steiner - Fotoreporter und Werbefotograf

Hans Steiner ist der grosse Vergessene der Schweizer Fotografiegeschichte. In den 30er und 40er Jahren gehörte er mit seinen Reportagefotos für die «Schweizer Illustrierte» und «Sie + Er» zu den Bedeutenden seiner Zeit. Nach seinem frühen Tod verschwand sein Name aus dem Gedächtnis – dabei hat er mit seinem Porträt von General Guisan eine fotografische Ikone erschaffen. Das «Musée de l’Elysée» in Lausanne hat Steiners Nachlass 1989 von einem Käsehändler erworben und ehrt den Fotografen jetzt mit einer umfassenden Werkschau. (SF Kulturplatz)
